Ree Drummond is a grandma! The Pioneer Woman is celebrating the birth of her first grandchild, a baby girl named Sofia.
Ree Drummond’s daughter, Alex, gave birth to her first child early Wednesday morning, according to a blog post written by Ree.
“My heart is exploding with happiness,” Ree wrote. “My daughter just had a daughter. I’m honestly still trying to wrap my head (and heart) around it all.”
The proud grandma shared that she arrived at the hospital in Dallas just before Alex delivered Sofia Marie, and praised Alex’s husband, Mauricio Scott, for his support and attentiveness during the birth. Ree also shared a series of photos of the precious newborn, whom she says is “perfect,” and we don’t disagree!
